Brett was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, and is now proud to call Warman home with his wife Lindsey and their two kids — Allie and Brodie.
Hockey has been a big part of Brett’s life for as long as he can remember. He grew up playing with the Calgary Royals, went on to play Junior A with the Olds Grizzlies, then played NCAA Division I hockey at Bowling Green State University — where he also earned his degree in Communications. After college, he chased the dream and played four years of pro hockey across the ECHL, UHL, and AHL.
These days, Brett loves being on the other side of the bench, helping develop young athletes and sharing his passion for the game. Outside the rink, you’ll usually find him spending time with his family, watching his kids play sports, or enjoying the outdoors — especially golfing or out on the lake.
